8th Generation Chief Winemaker Severine Frerson has created a new Belle Epoque cuvee, meaning "Blooming," exclusively for the Japanese market. This is a light rosé Champagne inspired by the blossoming of flowers. "During a visit to Tokyo, while strolling under the soft sunlight, I was deeply moved by the elegant sight of Japan's delicate flowers in full bloom. This scene became the inspiration for the name of this cuvee, 'Floraison' (meaning 'Blooming' in French)," says Severine Frerson. The front label depicted on the bottle is inspired by the blooming of anemone flowers. Additionally, the design of the gift box consists of organic shapes that abstractly represent minerals, animals, and plants, each depicted in the same proportion, emphasizing their equal roles in the ecosystem. The vertical gradient arrangement signifies the continuity of life, evoking the vibrant energy of nature in bloom. It was specially designed by the emerging French artist Garance Vallee. The cuvee features a blend of Grand Cru Chardonnay and rich, fruity Pinot Noir in equal proportions. Approximately 10% of red wine is blended in, giving it a bright and sparkling unique color. Composition: Chardonnay 50%, Pinot Noir 50% (with 10% red wine) Color: A bright and glamorous hue reminiscent of the sunlight streaming through the red stained glass windows of the historic Maison Belle Epoque of Perrier-Jouët. Aroma: An enchanting aroma of rose, raspberry, and crème de cassis, with subtle hints of thyme. A delicate impression with a mineral touch. Taste: Lively yet delicate, with a refined attack and smooth mouthfeel. Upon tasting, a subtle texture reminiscent of cosmos petals unfolds, evoking the freshness of morning dew illuminated by the moment of sunrise.
