This print series marks a significant return after 14 years since the last production in 2004. Titled grain, this work may seem to have subdued colors, but it is actually made up of numerous colored particles. True to its name, the layers of ink particles overlap to create a rich spectrum of colors and tones, which can also be seen as particles of light.
The imagery produced by these ink layers is unpredictable, going beyond the initial computer simulations. After two years of experimentation with the print workshop Normal Edition, led by Iba, the series was finally completed. Comprising a total of seven prints, certain areas have been treated with foam ink to enhance their textural quality, showcasing the workshop's expertise and meticulous attention to detail.
